I would like us to know that there is nothing theoretical about Christianity. Christianity is practical, it is not in theory. It it not about preaching it, it is about doing it. Deu.28:1-3. The devil can preach. It is your entrance into the commands of the scripture that works. It is when you key yourself into scriptural instructions that cause the release if the blessings. James.1:22-25, Deu.28:1-3. For instance, serving God guarantees your freedom from all sickness and afflictions of the devil. Ex.23:25. But, in order to actualize it you must put the word to work. Because, you can quote an hundred scriptures per second doesn’t implies that the word of God has gained entrance into you. God primarily operates on commandments which are not negotiable. And all scriptural commandments are meant for our profiting. God has not commanded us in order to grieve us, God has commanded us in order to bless us. 1Jn.5:3. Those who think that christianity is a passive religion are still under strong illusion. You must take responsibility -both in-season and out-of-season in order for the blessings to be manifested. You maintain your stand both in raining and dry season. Hab.3:17. Prayer is a commandment. ‘When’ you pray Mat. 6:9. and it attract open rewards. “All men ought to pray and not to faint.” Lk.18:1. “Pray without ceasing.” 1Thess.1:17. Fasting is a commandment.” ‘When’ you fast.” Mat.6:17 and its attract open rewards. “Is this not the fast I have chosen to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?.” Is.58:6. There some nonsense/obstacles that won’t be cleared off your way until you fast. Praise is a commandment. “Let everything that hath breath praise the lord.” PS. 150:6. God does not owe you anything, you owe God praise. You slept and woke up because of Him. What if your case were a mental case. God has not made you to meditate on your problems, He has created you to obey Him. You must obey your parent(God) in order to get anything from them. Continuous obedience is the golden rule for the release of all scriptural blessings and benefits. “Who so looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continue there in; he not be a forgetful hearer but a doer of the “‘work’, this man will be blessed in his deeds.” James.1:25. This means there is a ‘work’ that must be done before the blessings are unleashed. You are responsible for the outcome of your life. If you don’t take “responsibility‘, you become a liability for life. If you don’t ‘appreciate‘ God for what he has done, you will ‘depreciate‘ with time. When you wait for God to do something spectacular before you obey Him, you wait till eternity. You have to work it out. Let mockers mocked you, they are coming back to seek for your advice. Winning of Souls is a commandment and it rewards are answered prayers. Ye have not chosen me but i have chosen you and ordained you to bring forth fruit that your fruit should remain, whatever you ask in my name that i will give unto you. Jn. 15:16. Your tomorrow is determined by the level of your obedience today. “You can’t be dedicated today and not be decorated tomorrow.” Phil.2:8-11.
In conclusion, make serving God your lifestyle. Do it everyday. Everyday is the lord’s day. Don’t be too busy and stressed out to pray and worship. If you want to continue to hear from God, then you must maintain closed proximity with Him. God has integrity. Until you stop plugging yourself into the idea of continuous service, He won’t leave you. He is out when you are out. “God is not a man that He should lie, neither the son of man that He should repent.” Num.23:19
