There is nothing we are in Christ that does not leave us with a responsibility. “And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which i command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all the nations of the earth.” Deu.28:1-3. It will require two hands for the blessings to be released. The hand of God and the hand of man. You better bring out your hands that hang down. It is the sword of the lord and the sword of Gideon. You better bring out your sword. Collect the blessings from your parent by being responsible. If you don’t take responsibility, you will as well become a liability. You don’t expect the harvest of a maize without planting corn. “What you plant today is what guarantee the harvest you receive tomorrow.” “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that he shall also reap.” Gal.6:7 Everything that the word said we are in Christ is true but our part must be played in order for the promises of God to come to be. “But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” JMS.1:22.
