Today, I would be sharing with us the way we can follow the bible instruction.
How Can I Follow The Bible Instruction?
1). Follow the bible instruction by praying for lost to be converted to Christ with a minimum of one hour daily either at a stretch or in a split of two to three sessions based on your schedules. Prayer has proven to be the sharpest sickle of harvest. Your family member who is still following the devil can be turned by your prayer.
Prayer provides a software for a lifetime service’s platform. “And she was a widow of about four score and four years, which departed not from the temple, but served God with fastings and prayers night and day.” Lk.2:37.
Prayer has proven to be one of the most rewarding platform of service. “But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy father which is in the secret; and thy father which seeth in the secret shall reward thee openly.” Mat.6:6.
Prayer doesn’t only changes things, it changes people. “As he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and glistering.” Lk.9:29.
A prayer house is a power house. The only language that the devil understand is prayer (not grammars).
2). Follow the bible instruction by involving in the chosen fast. “Is this not the fast I have chosen? To loose the bands of the wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke.” Is.58:6.
There are forces of hell that will not let you free until you fast. Fasting is not an advice, fasting is a commandment. “When thou fastest.” Mat.6:17. Apart from the chosen fast, be inspired to fast.
Fasting is not a punishment. It is the fastening of our body in order to strengthen our inner man (Spirit).
Every genuine child of God carries a greater potential than men of the old. If you want to do more than what Jesus did, then you must engage in fasting and prayer. It is the prayer that you offers in the fast that God answers, not the fasting. Fasting without prayer is just a mere punishment.
“And Jesus said unto them this kind come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.” Mark.29:9.
c). Follow the bible instruction by getting involved in the Soul winning mandate. It is very rampant this days to hear people say, “I don’t have the gift of soul winning.” (Error in reasoning).
Soul winning is neither a talent nor a gift. It is a commandment for everyone called believer. God has ordained every believer as a soul hunter.
“Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye ask of the father in my name, he will gives unto you.” Jn.15:16.
Any profession that you choose which can’t allows you to preach the gospel is not a profession, It is toiling. You better watch out for what you choose as discipline. You run a hotel or sell cigarette or weed and can’t preach to gospel as a result, you are under the influence and manipulation of the enemy. In fact, you’re in serious danger.
Take this scripture has a yardstick of measurement for chosen your career.
“The spirit of the lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised.” Lk.4:18.
If your job doesn’t allow you to carry out the functions specified in the above scripture, find something else to do. Or else, you will be toiling in life like the vicious cycle of poverty.
d). Let praise becomes a part and parcel of you. Let it becomes your lifestyle. Don’t just do it occasionally, but do it regularly. I repeat myself, do it regularly. Praise is a commandment (Psalm. 150:6). Appreciation equals multiplication (Jer.30:19).
e). Follow the instruction of giving – Financial empowerment doesn’t answers to neither fasting nor prayer, It answers to the commandment of thiting (Mal.3:10). It answers to the commandment of giving and receiving, seed time and harvest time. That is the secret. Develop yourself to the point if giving all the tenth part of your income.
Support and help the less privileged and the poor in terms of your money and materials. Helping the poor is like lending to the Lord (PS.41:1).
Solomon who offered the largest burnt offerings in history became the richest man that the world has ever known. That is the secret. Abraham entertained angels with cow unknown, same Abraham became the father’s of many nations – same Abraham took his only son and ready to offers him as sacrifice – If you’re the type who will hide food under your bed when visitors will come in, repent! That is the reason why you’re poor.
e). Lastly, Don’t just the follow bible instructions, follow them with faith. Believe that you are not serving God for nothing, but you are serving God for something. Be expectant in your engagement. The devil testified that Job did not fear God for nothing.
“The Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?” Job.1:9.
Serving God is not a waste of time. There are rewards involved. “I said not unto the seed of Jacob, Seek ye me in vain.” Is.45:19. Faith is not a risk, unbelieve is a risk. Without faith, it impossible to receives anything from God (Heb.11:6).
