Thinking faculty

Thinking faculty

God is good, He thinks and his thoughts are positive. He is delighted in the prosperity of his servant. If God thinks and He thinks positively, you too must think positively.

For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the lord, thoughts of peace and not evil, to give you an expected end.” Jer.29:11

“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in good health.” 3.Jn.1:2

Keep your mind away from all negative thoughts. Cast down all mind debris, chaffs and cultural orientations, they are by-products of the enemy. What you think concerning your situation has a long way to determine what you become.

Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are issues of life.” Prov.4:23

Any thoughts you allow to hold grip on you is regarded accomplished. So, watch out for what you allows to stay on your mind. The scripture made us understand that you are what you think.

For as he thinketh in his heart, so his he.” Prov.23:7

Listen to this: God answers thoughts like He answers prayer. That woman with the issue of blood didn’t had to pray, but she thought within herself and she got her healing.

“She said within herself, if I may but touch his garment, I shall be made whole.” Mat.9:21

You know what? That was exactly what happened, her thoughts was accomplished, she got healing.

God pays more attention to what you think inside your heart than what you say outside with your mouth. Or better still, God pays more attention to your inner mouth than your outer mouth. The reason is because, what you say with your outer mouth might be hypocritic in nature. And, everything is naked before God.

This is why you must train both your inner mouth and your outer mouth to say the same thing.

Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.” Heb.4:13

It is my prayer, as you train your mind and your mouth to speak after the order of God, every mountain confronting you would be made plain in the name of Jesus.

  1. Good post. This is precisely why we must, as you say ” train both your inner mouth and your outer mouth to say the same thing.” To succeed as Christians, we must unite our inner thoughts with our actions… including our spoken word. We must develop a prayer life with God that flows from who we are. It must be an ever, on going, conversation. Not just with spoken words… but with our every thought, our every idea. We must work to unite our entire being to the One Who made us. Then and only then, will we be able to be the person God intended…God Bless.

    1. Good that you also agreed with me. God pays more attention to what we say with our inner mouth than what we say with our outer mouth. We should not think that our positive confessions with negative thoughts will deceive him as everything is naked and plain to him. Great comment and thanks for sharing your thoughts 🙂
