Prayer

A prayer house is a power house; a power house is a prayer house. A growing church is a praying church and a praying church is a growing church.

Whatever we pray for others answers back to us. Prayer is a spiritual seed that yield open rewards. Prayer is a sure way to seek lord. Seeking that lord is the pathway to all round blessings.

“The young lion do lack and suffer hunger but that seek the lord shall never want any good thing.” – Psalm.34:10.

Hannah, at 84, served God with prayer and fasting in the temple night and day (And she was a widow of about four score and four years who departed not from the temple but served God with fastings and prayers night and day – Lk.2:37 ).

‘Non-self-centered’ prayer (a prayer on behalf of the heathen, lost, unsaved, discouraged, country, etc) is one of the cheapest ways to serve the lord. The platform of service is the platform of sacrifice. It takes a sacrificial approach to collect anything from God.

Wait a minute: If Jesus Christ the Jesus Christ (who was not given the Holy Spirit by measure) could subjected himself to this principle before he could be enthroned, then you and I have no choice than to follow the same principle (You can’t be dedicated today and not be decorated tomorrow).

Philippians 2:6-10 KJV

Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: [7] But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: [8] And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. [9] Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: [10] That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

This is a mystery that works. It works like fire. David was a servant (he was in charged of his father’s sheep) before he killed Goliath and latter became a king. Joseph served before he became a prime minister. The alter of sacrifice is the alter of sworn blessings (this alter connects us to ‘Abrahamic‘ covenant of greatness through our lord Jesus Christ).

Galatians 3:14 KJV

That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

Therefore brethren, take responsibility! Be on the go for Christ, follow His instructions. This is the surest way to secure a destiny for yourself and the upcoming generations.

Get involved, pray for the growth and expansion of your church and God’s kingdom. Intercede on behalf of the heathens, discouraged believers; stand in gap for your nation and intercede on behalf of the anointed men of God. These are the examples of the kind of prayer that attracts God’s attention.
