The wisdom from above – divine wisdom

The wisdom from above

The wisdom from above

Wisdom is the quality of having experience, knowledge, and good judgement; the quality of being wise. Synonyms: sagacity, sageness, intelligence, understanding, insight and foresight.

Wisdom is applied knowledge

Wisdom is knowing the right thing to do and doing it.

3 types of wisdom

 3-Types of Wisdom

(1) Intellectual wisdom
(2) Diabolical wisdom
(3) Divine wisdom

(1). Intellectual wisdom is a type of wisdom that is based on the knowledge of man. This kind of wisdom can be generalized based on theories. It’s prone to failure. It’s based on fact.

1 Corinthians 2:11-14 KJV
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God. [13] Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. [14] But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them , because they are spiritually discerned.”

(2) Diabolical wisdom is also known as devilish wisdom or demonic wisdom. It’s the wisdom from the devil.

This is the wisdom of going through short cut in life. Stealing, bribery & corruption and money ritual, etc are examples of diabolical wisdom. The end result is destruction.

Proverbs 10:22 KJV
The blessing of the Lord , it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.”

(3) Divine wisdom – Divine wisdom is the wisdom that comes from above. It’s anchored on established truth. Truth is superior to fact. While fact can fail; truth can never fail.

James 3:17 KJV
“But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.”
