Imaginative faculty – mind by Godson

Imaginative faculty, mind

Imagination

Imagination refers to the action or process of forming new ideas, concepts, images of external objects without any immediate input of the senses.

Imagination which is one function of the mind shouldn’t be confused with thinking.
Imagination is a more structured, intentional and creative form of thought which are more likely to solve a problem or serve an intended purpose.

Your mind is that part of you that enables you to imagine through your thinking. Understand that it is within your capacity by the God Grace made sufficient in you to think constructively, creatively for a divine purpose.

Philippians 4:8 says
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things”.

But beware of the kind of thoughts you imagine. Think good things and your life will be good. Think bad things and you will continuously live in misery until you learn to consciously direct your thoughts. That is why you should be careful with what you imagine in your life everyday.

Proverbs 4:23 says “Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life”.

Your ability to imagine is your ability to choose how you want the spiritual to direct your physical life that is why God has given you dominion over all things. Understand that it is within your jurisdiction to cast evil and bring excess good which truly it starts from your thoughts.

Your imagination is a conscious link between your physical and all that is in the spiritual. It is the tool you use to tap from all that is infinite and limitless whether good or bad, its your choice. That is why the bible says we should guild our heart with all vigilance.

Let us learn to acknowledge the abundance, good health and riches that God had made in store for us through our thoughts and prayers. Something is made available to you only when you acknowledge, accept or have a conviction that it is there already (or that it is already yours) and that is why faith is very important.

Mark 11:23-24 says “Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours”.

FAITH IS THE SUBSTANCE OF THINGS HOPED FOR, EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN.

I want you to pause, take a moment and look around you and take time to realize that all you see around you was first conceived through a person’s thought – the books, chairs, phones, houses etcetera. Those things were constructively thought into being for the enhancement of human life and for solving problems. But remember, imagining only will not bring things into manifestation. You have to pray for God’s direction, plan and execute according to his will for your life.

Jeremiah 17:10 says “I the Lord search the heart and test the mind, to give every man according to his ways, according to the fruit of his deeds”.

It’s my prayer this evening that God will give us the strength to diligently seek him so that as we live in accordance to his words and directives, our mind shall continually be renewed so that we shall grow in understanding and think more intelligently and creatively for the propagation of the gospel and the manifestation of all the good he had made in store for his children. Amen.
