Wonders of prayer and fasting

 Wonders of prayer and fasting

If there’s a person to pray, there’s a God to answer.
There is never a time that we are ready to call that He isn’t available to answer us. He is merciful enough to grant us answer.

Prayer is the platform that provides nurturing for our seed of greatness to emerge. Since we exist in a word frame world. what you speak is what you see and can speak on the altar of prayer.

We speak on the altar of prayer. We have to speak in prayer, expressing our heart desire. God said as ye say in my ear so shall it be. If he ask, you will receive.

Prayer is an order of responsibility because it confers us with the responsibility to ask and if we refuse to do so nothing comes for us.

A prayer less life is full of danger because, things and life is so unpredictable for such person. Remember He said surely our expectations shall not be cut off.

Someone who doesn’t pray has little or no expectation and and this means no RESULT. it means nothing to show for been a christian.
2nd chronicles 7:14.

Fasting; isaiah 58:6.

Fasting is a spiritual quickening agent that helps to speed up our prayer and also a spiritual exercise. Remember, bodily exercise profits nothing.

Fasting keeps our flesh under the subjection and the leading of the holy spirit making our communication zealous. God knew some certain mountains will remain until we fast and pray that’s why He gave us the order of prayer and fasting to give us dominion over situation of life

Benefits of prayer and fasting

  1. To deliver us from affliction:the wicked ones are envy at our growth and it will stir up jealousy and move to looking out to harm us. As long as your life produce result you have the wicked one on the loose.
The escape out of it is prayer and fasting.
  2.  It increase our level of communing with the holy spirit, it provide us a means of spiritual fattening. fasting is a food of the spirit.
  3. It helps save us from temptation (Luke 22:40).
Temptation is everywhere but at the direction of God via our communication on the altar of prayer. We are directed on what to do and what not to do. He promises never to leave us alone.

In conclusion, a lifestyle of prayer and fasting is not just a religious act; it is a platform to acknowledge and commit the holy spirit on our issues.

God is ever faithful to fulfil His own part of the deal but because the devil our enemy is not tired of looking out for the christian, he tries everything to make us engage less the blessedness of prayer and fasting.

My prayer is that as we commit our heart to engage the altar of prayer and fasting in this season. May He hear us and gives us answers speedily.
