The righteous – 5 benefits of righteous living

5 benefits of righteous living

God doesn’t speak to impress people; He speaks to expand people. Things that will impress you will not expand you; things that will expand you will not impress you.

“All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: [17] That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.” – 2.Tim.3:16-17

5 Benefits of righteousness

1). Boldness – Boldness is the secret behind the miraculous at work in the hands of the apostles. The keyword here is the confidence it requires confidence to get God to confirm His word.

“Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marveled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus.” – Acts.4:13
“And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.” – Acts.4:31

While sins inflict fear; righteousness instills boldness. Many – though born-again Christians – are still ruled with fear as a result of sin.

Adam sinned and the first statement He made was “I am afraid.” Sin ruptured the destiny of men. It broke the link between God and men.

“The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.” – Prov.28:1

2). Flourished business – Righteousness is the gateway to a flourished business. The reason your business is suffering ups and downs is unrighteousness. Have you started a business and no one is patronizing it? Check the level of your righteousness.

“The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon. [13] Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God. [14] They shall still bring forth fruit in old age; they shall be fat and flourishing;” PSM.92:12-14

The Bible is a solution book. It offers multi-purpose solutions to all problems of life. You can use it to turn the shape of your business by subscribing to the demands of righteousness.

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. [2] But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law doth he meditates day and night. [3] And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” – PSM.1:1-3

3). Speed – righteousness enhances speed in all realms of life while sin fosters slow motion. Many are delayed in life because of an unrighteous lifestyle.

“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.” – Is.40:31

4). Envious destiny – We are not an entity of pity; we are an entity of envy. Every authentic believer has an envious destiny in Christ. It’s my prayer, tonight marks an end to every issue of shame in your life. What makes people pity you comes to an end today. As of today, people will no longer ask you where is your God. God will show up on your behalf.

“For he had possession of flocks, and possession of herds and great store of servants: and the Philistines envied him.” – Gen.26:14

Every issue of mockery will turn into an issue of envy. All those who mocked you serving God in righteousness will join you to serve God.

Before I drop the last point, the spirit of God tells me to show you the forces behind unrighteousness.

Association

Your friend can either make you or break you. Friendship is not by force, is by choice. Watch out for negative friends that cause bad influences. Those who walk with fools are programmed for destruction.

“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” – 1. Cor.15:33
“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” – Prov.13:20

Ignorance

Many are victims of ignorance more than anything else. Knowledge is the key to dominion.

“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” – Hosea.4:6

That is why Jesus Christ clamored for knowledge during His earthly ministry. He rebuked the Lawyers for taking the key of knowledge.

“Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.” – Lk.11:52

Anything that you don’t understand will be abused. Knowledge is priceless, nothing can be compared to it. You can’t be lighted and be molested. Get knowledge in all thy ‘getting’

Lastly, number 5

Exploits – Listen to this: You don’t need to know any mortal man before you make it in life. You don’t need any political backup – you only need to know God.

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” – Dan.11:32

Exploits can be defined as what eyes hath not seen nor ear heard before. 1 Cor. 2:9. All genuine righteous children of God are public figures.

“And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.” – Dan.12:32

It’s my prayer. By the light of this word, you will be numbered among the world’s high flyers in the mighty name of Jesus
