Winning the War Against Worry

In this post, you will learn how to win the war against unproductive living which I called worry. How Can You Win the War Against Worry?

(1). By Engaging in Active Praise & Thanksgiving As a Lifestyle

Probably, you’ve sown seeds, you’ve paid tithes and offerings; prayed for the lost, and reached out to them, but you are yet to experience open rewards, it’s time to water your seed with praise and Thanksgiving.

The reason why most of your seeds have failed to yield returns is because of your complains. Nothing kills seeds faster than grumblings and murmurings. While complains complicate matters, murmuring messes up situation.

When you turn all your bitterness and hatred to praise and thanksgiving, the miraculous will flow more in your life. Praise brings about to increase, fosters multiplication, brings down God’s presence, and adds a seal of favor over your life.

If you are not depressed, you cannot be oppressed. The devil depresses people first before he oppressed them. Don’t be a victim.

Stop worries. At Shiloh, Hannah worried, fretted, and blamed her husband, blamed God, but nothing happened. But when she turned her bitterness into thanksgiving, God stepped into her affairs. You can’t move God by worries, but by faith. Faith is praised amid hopeless situations. When Paul and Silas recoursed to praise and thanksgiving in the prison, God stepped in. If you need divine intervention on any issue of concern, adds praise to your efforts. When you pray, you seek God but when you praise God, you see God. Praise is where God lives. “But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel” – Psalm.22:3.

(2). By Discovering Your Assignment

The most unproductive activity on earth is worry – it steals time and joy. That’s why the Bible says, “Therefore do not worry, saying (worry is expressed by what you say), ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ – Mathew.6:31. God knows that you need all these things but He wants you to focus on your assignment (to God, your assignment is more important than your needs). If God could decorate the lilies which is a plant, He will decorate and add colors to your life. But even lilies have a purpose to fulfill. It was decorated so that it can attract insects. Everything that God created has a purpose, including you. Therefore, God wants you to discover and focus on your assignment and every other thing will run after you.

But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto youMathew.6:33.

No weeping is permitted beyond a night, your present situation is only temporary, don’t make a permanent decision in it. Whatever has a beginning will surely come to an end.

“For surely there is a hereafter, And your hope will not be cut off” Proverbs.28:18.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end” – Jeremiah.29:11.

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end, it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry” – Habakkuk.2:3.

There is always a light at the end of the tunnel.
