Planning is winning. Between you and your vision is your plan. If you do not have ‘to do‘ the devil will give you enough to do.

When you want to start a business, the first thing you need to do is to have a business plan. A business plan is a document that tells you how the business is supposed to be carried out to succeed.
Most business owners who have their business plans before starting survived while those who had no plans are short-lived.
Understand this, the height of what you intend to build determines the depth of the foundation you are supposed to lay. That’s why every skyscraper that you see doesn’t have the same foundation as a bungalow. 7 foundations of a successful marriage.
“Moses listened to his father-in-law and did everything he said. He chose capable men from all Israel and made them leaders of the people, officials over thousands, hundreds, fifties and tens. They served as judges for the people at all times. The difficult cases they brought to Moses, but the simple ones they decided on themselves.“ – Exodus.18:24-26
Understand this, there is an organizational structure that will help to secure your future. You don’t have to become big to have structure, it’s the structure that you develop from the inception that makes it becomes big. You don’t need to have an accountant to be accountable.
We serve a God of order. Before He created fish there was water. God specializes in strategic planning.
Planning averts the waste of time, energy, and resources. It protects vision and helps to fulfill a purpose.
If you don’t have plans for your life, someone else will plan for you. Anyone who has the plan is in control. You should chart your life plan and be in charge (dominion) of your destiny.
Planning Is faith. God has a plan for you but He doesn’t plan for you. The greatest display of faith is to document what you believe. Plans are documented faith. What is faith? Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Heb.11:1).
“A man’s heart plans his way, But the LORD directs his steps (Proverbs.16:9, NKJV).“
Recap
You need to have plans to be in charge of your life. In between, you and your vision are your plans. Every true vision will always put the visionary on the run (see Jeremiah 20:9). You can’t run a vision without a plan. Planning is a documented faith. It moves God into action. God has plans for you but God does not plan for you. Give God room to adjust your plan if necessary.
Great advice! Just what I needed to hear.

I would like to add a couple of thoughts to “Planning Is Winning.”
(1) We serve a God who promises that if we are faithful over little, He will make us master over much.” From personal experience, I testify to the truth of that.
(2) Our “Planning” (If it is to succeed) must be firmly rooted in the principles found in God’s Word because anything that is not built on a foundation that includes the Holy Spirit is doomed to fail at the outset.
(3) Once we become successful, we must become channels of God’s blessing to others because if we try to hoard all the blessing up unto ourselves, we will lose it all.
(4) As long as we faithfully give of our abundance to the Work of God, the flow of blessings to us will never be cut off so we dare not splurge our success on our own lusts alone … we must be as giving to others as God has been in giving to us.
(5) We must be good stewards of what God gives to us and allows us to have. We must take the blessings that God gives to us and invest them wisely so that they will return dividends …. and the more dividends are returned, the greater will be our power to obey Gods command to give unto others as He has given unto us (That is my paraphrase).
(5) The most powerful plans for success must have more “God” in it than “Me” in it. He must increase and we must decrease if we are to command Abrahamic levels of wealth.
(6) Success is an energy … it is also spiritual. Success often comes and is maintained by forces that are often completely mysterious to us but that must work entirely in the realm of faith and in the acts of asking, believing and receiving, As a man/woman thinketh in his or her own heart, so are they.
(7) Faith on the road to success absolutely has to have the element of stubborn expectancy in it in order for the rewards to manifest themselves.
(8) Faith on the road to success absolutely must have the element of total and complete thanksgiving to God, the giver of all good things, every step on the journey.

Planning is so important before building. Also, listening to the Lord for his plans for your business and following his instructions is very important for success. He needs to be the managing partner!

👍Your thoughts are valid. Some businessmen think spirituality should be separated from business, therefore they make business decisions without hearing from God. Unfortunately, for them they make losses. In addition, hearing from God is vital to making decisions in every area of life. Before one jump into marriage, chooses a career, etc he/she needs divine guidance. I appreciate your comment. God bless🙏🙂
