God’s way is different from men’s way. As heaven is far away from earth, so is His ways distant from our ways. It will be very sad if you spend your lifetime doing what you’re not ordained to do.

In our culture, many people ended up doing what they did not study in higher institutions. It’s God’s way to bless people with their talents and gifts. Hear this, what will make you to become somebody in life is that talent which you’ve not discovered yet.

Frankly speaking, there is no such thing as useless person or field. You’re not inferior to anybody. If I need you; you also need me.

But the sad thing is that many people are living a shapeless life due to their inadequate knowledge about their callings in life.

Like the saying of a wise man, the grave yard is the place where most talented people reside. Of a truth, many talents have gone unheard buried in the deepest place under the earth (I wrote this post so that this will not be your portion).

What Are The Ways To Discover Your Calling?

• Ask God For Direction – Out of sheer ignorance, Many people have dived into what they are not called to do in life but later regretted by asking God to come and finished what He did not start in the first place. I must warn here, don’t ever ask God to work out the plan He was not involved. Rather, ask God to give you His plan for your life. You can get this done by going into prayer and fasting for 3/7 days or as you are inspired by the Holy Spirit. “And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as noonday.” The cheapest way to access divine direction is prayer and fasting. It helps to dispel the darkness around your career, marriage and future; illuminates your path. Then, you become a pathfinder. It’s your birth right to have access to God’s plan for your life. But unfortunately, many born-again Christians have sold the birth rights for the feeding of the belly the same way Esau sold his birthright to Jacob – even though everyone has been blaming Esau for selling his.

• Faith (action) – The best definition you can give to faith is “action.” It’s God’s style to leads His people by their actions – step by step, God leads – If God reveals a step to you, until you follow that step, don’t expect the revelation of another step. God knows you more than you know about yourself. He knows you right from your mother’s womb (Jer. 1:5). And God has the records about your past, present and future. The secret of your future is in His hands. But if God shows you how tall the mountain is, obviously, you’ll be discouraged climbing. Friend, release yourself from the shackles of ignorance and embrace God in obedience as He leads you step by step.
