Many are loyal but few are aware, many are sincere but few are sensitive. We must all be sensitive that financial prosperity is the dignity of Christianity. The gospel is easily preached when we have results to show ” For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that through his poverty might be be rich.” 2.Cor.8:9.
We must also remain sensitive that God is happy when we are rich because He takes pleasure in the our prosperity. PS.35:27. “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” 3.Jn.1:3. Therefore, you are a big disappointment to God if you choose to be poor.
We must also embraced the truth that there is no shortcut at being rich. Get this straight: You can be rich and be cursed but you can never be blessed and not be wealthy. “Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” PS.1:1-3.
In the light of the above scripture, you can locate your financial prosperity seed from there. For every blessing in the kingdom, there is/are always condition/conditions to be met. These are the conditions spelt out in this scripture:
- Never walk in the counsel or gathering of the ungodly
- Never stand in the way of the sinners
- Never sit in seat of the scornful
- Be delighted in the law of the lord – you are obeying commands, you are happy (delightful obedience).
- Meditate upon the word of God day and night.
These are you financial prosperity seeds. You can’t expect the harvest of a maize without planting a corn. It is to everyman according to his work. Rev.22:12.
There are so many businessmen whom remember God only on Sundays. Instead of studying and meditating God’s word, they are busy reading newspapers and checking the stock exchange’s barometer.
This is the cause of business failure. A failed business is as a result of your lacks of disobedience and entrance into the covenant of seedtime and harvest. Gen.8:22, Deu.8:18. Your business is suffering from non-thithing disease. Do you pay your corporate thithe? You are an armed robber, this may seems unfair but that what the scripture says“Will a man rob God? Yet have robbed me. But ye say, wherein have we robbed me. But Ye say wherein have we robbed thee? In thites and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even the whole nation” Mal.3:8-9.
Never take God for granted, you will be grounded when you take God for granted. He mean everything He says. Your cry and tears – even murmurings and complains – do not move God. It is your obedience that moved God. Deu28:1-3, James1:22, Jos.1:8.
Complains will further complicate your matters, murmurings will further mess up your situations. “Do all things without murmurings and disputings.” Phil.2:14.
