From the days of the Patriarchy to the present, all those who have reigned in life have been men and women of violent faith. Faith that tears the roof off will always get God’s attention (See Luke.5:17-26).
Faith is not a gentle thing; rather, it’s a violent thing. To get God’s attention, some form of violence is required. In Luke.5, some men were bringing a paralytic man to Jesus, convinced that if they got him to Jesus, he would be healed. However, there was such a large crowd at the entrance that they were unable to enter where Jesus was. To get to Jesus, they ripped the roof off the building (Violence).
“And the kingdom of God has suffered violence from the days of John the Baptist until now, and the violent have taken it by force (paraphrased).” –Mathew. 11:12
You’re far too gentle for the victory you seek. Jesus is the lion of the tribe of Judah. You can’t claim to be a lion’s brother unless you actually are one. Consider a lion: he is always calm. A lion’s eyes are always red, indicating violence. There are no fearful lions, and even his posture frightens the devil. You can’t have a lion share unless you first have a lionheart.
You don’t deserve what you don’t desire. Faith is not a passive state; it is an action – a doing or a moving force. It is acting in accordance with your beliefs. The woman with the blood issue did not pray, but instead reasoned within herself that “if she touches Jesus’ garment, she will be made whole.” Her blood was stanched as she moved to touch the garment right away. Faith is not a platitude; it is a labour of love. Without work, faith dies (James.2:20). Obedience comes from faith. In other words, unwavering adherence to scriptural instructions.
There are no professors at Pilot’s School, but there are instructors. People do not fly based on their knowledge, but rather on their ability to follow instructions. Connect to the frequency of scriptural instructions to get onboard for a flight. It’s impossible to be dedicated and not be decorated. Your level of obedience today determines your future. You’ll be counted among the world’s highfliers if you follow God’s commandments as a way of life.
The devil is not a gentleman; he will always oppose the manifestation of God’s promises in your life. As a result, God’s word will appear to be a forgery. What happens in life? We’re in a battle with the devil to reclaim our birthright. By being responsible, you can obtain your birthright from your parent (God). Life is a battleground. And the battle is primarily a mental one. The target of the attack is your mind. If you fail there, you will fail in reality. Your mind has the power to either make or break you (See, Ephesians 6:12; John 10:10).
