How to Solve Problems

There is no one on the planet who has no problem; no family, no organization, and no government that has no problem. There is no challenge-free life. The difference is that while some are determined to solve their problems, others are occupied with celebrating their problems. According to Scripture, everything you celebrate multiplies (see Jeremiah 30:19).

Did you know the difference between the developed and developing nations? The developed nations are committed to solving their problems while the developing nations are busy talking about their problems.

How Do You Solve Your Problems?

Problems are stepping stones to success. It’s scriptural to be challenged, it’s ‘unscriptural’ to be defeated. You can solve all your problems by implementing the following guide:

The number one way to solve problems is to have a vision

The root cause of most of the problems you face is a lack of vision. A life without a bearing is a burden. Having a clear vision will save you from many troubles. The Bible says, Where there is no vision the people perish (see Prov 29:18-27). Life is an experiment without a vision. Don’t get lost in activism. Activity does not equal productivity. Because you’re busy does not mean that you are getting results. There are too many busy people in life with no results. Make daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly plans and set long-term goals and run with your goals. Find out who you’re and where you’re going from God with the help of the Holy Spirit and most of your problems will disappear in automatic.

Not everything that glitter is gold. Not all opportunities are from God. Some opportunities are graveyards which add to your problems. It’s easy to avoid distractions when there’s vision. It’s easy to say no to any opportunities that won’t take you there.

Lack of vision is a problem. It’s the reason many are confused, living by the law of accident. They live their lives as occasion serves them. They change jobs like chameleons now and then. Every field is their field. No area of specialization. If you don’t know where you are going any road may look like it. You need to find out from God where you belong. Seek help from the Holy Spirit and be committed to staying on your calling.

Life is so simple, but it becomes complex and problematic when too many irons are in the fire. Jack of all trades, master of none.

“Before I formed thee in the belly, I knew thee before thou come forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto nations. “

Jeremiah 1:5

Nelson Mandela, an exemplar of a visionary. Though his body was dying, his vision was alive. He said: I will become the president of the nation someday and he became it. All true visions always put the visionary on the run (see Jer 20:9).

The Second way to solve problems is to find solutions to problems instead of complaining

While complain complicates your problems, murmuring mess it up. Fault-finders don’t go far in life. Even God hates murmurers: neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.”  1 Cor 10:10

Do all things without murmuring and disputing  Phil 2:14

Most developing nations are problem talkers and that explains why some nations have conquered the moon while others are yet to conquer the earth.

You can’t blame people for your predicaments: your brothers and uncles have their families and bills to take care of, so you must take responsibility. Hannah blamed everyone but no result: but when she was joyful, the miraculous exploded if you are not joyful you will be fretful. You are the light of the world. The world needs you to solve her problems.

The third way to solve problems is to never give up

Everyone who has tasted success in life in every field has tried and failed quite many times before they succeeded. For a righteous may fall seven times, and rise again (Proverbs 24:17). Thomas Edison, tried and failed nine hundred and ninety-nine times to invent a lighting bulb.

The Bible did not say that you’ll not go through trials. Trials are not punishment for sins but a test of faith. Before a primary school pupil could move from his or her current class to the next, he or she must write and pass an exam, even if his father was the school principal does not exclude him from writing the exams. Everyone has a private trial that they’ll pass through in life to hit their success marks.

Abraham passed the test of faith when God told him to offer Isaac as a burnt offering. And again he waited for the promise for 25 years and did not have a fainted heart but he was giving God the glory till fulfillment of the promise. No matter what you are passing through, press on. Your breakthrough shall arrive.

Most vision speaks at the end; most breakthroughs happen at the end. The wall of Jericho fell down flat when the Israelites went around it seventh times on the seventh day, in the other six days they went around only once (see Joshua 6:15).

“For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: thought it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely (come to pass); it will not tarry.”

Habbakkuk 2:3

The last day you set for your goal could be the day that all your goals are accomplished. Because you set a deadline along with your goal and it’s almost getting to the time it elapses, and nothing seems to work, don’t give up, believe it shall speak even at the end, and work on your vision. God works mysteriously, the result of one day can supersede a lifetime achievement of somebody else’s life.

Within three months a cup-bearer became a governor. In one night, famine was over in Israel and food was sold for one shekel as prophesied, no scientific or economic calculation can explain that – not even Harvard could explain.

Number four: think big and don’t despise little

It is important to note that you should have a lion’s heart to take a lion’s share. Your thinking faculty has a way to determine what and who you become in life. The superhuman project the Pyramid of Egypt, was accomplished through the power of imagination. Any good thing you can imagine from Genesis to Revelation could become yours.

When God told Abraham and his seeds all the land he saw, He didn’t expect him to see all his seeds with his physical eyes but his mind-eye. If you can picture your greatness with your mind-eye, you shall have it. You only feature in a future that you can picture.

“Moreover the word of the lord came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seeth thou? And I said I see a rod of an almond tree. Then said the Lord unto me, thou hast seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.“

Jeremiah 1:11-12

Don’t despise the days of little. Overnight success has become a big problem among the youth nowadays. The get-rich-quick mentality. Everyone wants to climb the trees from the top. The best place to begin is the beginning. If you’re starting a business and the first thing that comes across your mind is money, you may fail. Get the ideas first and start from somewhere.

Last, make sounds

When you are quiet you become dumb, when you are dumb you become stupid. Mountains are problems that only move by speaking (not by crying or watching). Speak your miracle into being. David defeated Goliath by speaking and God overcame the ugliness of darkness by speaking. The mountains you see are the ones you have not spoken about.

The richest pastor in the world has been professing his prosperity since when the ministry was a reference to poverty. But God has turned things around, the ministry now owns five planes, two best-in-class universities, and many other investments. Understand this is what you cannot despise, you cannot dominate. If you keep saying you are sick, you are empowering the sickness to dominate you.

If you keep going about telling everyone how poor and misfortune you are begging for cash and borrowing here and there, you’ll suffer a lifetime of humiliation and disappointment. Again, whatever you celebrate magnifies. Put your trust in God and not in men for your prosperity, healing, and breakthrough.

God is a jealous God, He delivers only those who have confidence in Him and not those who run over the legs of men in favor. “They that know their God shall be strong and do exploits.” – Dan 11:32. Men can only lift you where their hands could reach, but God will lift you according to His capacity. Continue to make bold declarations of your breakthrough into being.

“For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.”

Luke 21:15

In conclusion, never worry when problems set in. God makes everything beautiful in His time — not in your time. The most unproductive activity on earth is worry. Instead, channel all your energy into praise and thanksgiving. If you’re not depressed, you cannot be oppressed. God does not owe anyone something; we owe Him praise and thanksgiving.
