[AMP] – Psalms 84:6 Passing through the Valley of Weeping (Baca), they make it a place of springs; the early rain also fills [the pools] with blessings.
Breakthrough is a major progress to overcome some obstacles. There is no progress without resistance.
Breakthrough never come without a fight. So to CONTEND is to struggle or exert one’s self to obtain or retain possession of an inheritance.
In 1samuel 17, David has already been anointed king by prophet Samuel but before he could step into his breakthrough, he had to face a giant(Goliath).
I believe that what worked in the Bible will definitely work for us if we will act on them.
David believed in his God who had never failed before, he then picked up five(5) smooth stones.
From the Bible text, they are passing through unpleasant situations/unfavorable circumstances with weeping and non-satisfaction. It becomes a place of abundance and testimonies through their actions.
NEED FOR DIVINE INSIGHT
In Genesis 21:17-20, is the story of Hagar and Ishmael.
[NLT] – Genesis 21:17, But God heard the boy crying and the angel of God called to Hagar from heaven, “Hagar, what’s wrong? Do not be afraid! God has heard the boy crying as he lies there.
[NLT] – Genesis 21:18, Go to him and comfort him, for I will make a great nation from his descendants.
[NLT] – Genesis 21:20, And God was with the boy as he grew up in the wilderness. He became a skillful archer.
It takes the cry of the baby and heart cry of the mother for God to open her eyes to the spring of water to comfort them.
In 1king 4, the outcry of the woman brought a divine insight of what to do/steps to take.
Also, the outcry of the wife of the sons of the prophet whose husband is dead with debtor’s trouble that led to her family breakthrough with an insight of what to do.
NEED FOR DIVINE FAVOUR
Esther had been a perfect example who by the favour of God from a maid became a queen of a kingdom.
Psalm 89:17b, says by the favour of God our horn are exalted.
