Poverty is a product of darkness that mainly exist as a result of ignorance. Wisdom is the mother of poverty. A Poverty’s victim can cure this disastrous disease by acquiring the right knowledge and put into work the acquired knowledge. Wisdom is applied knowledge. In this post, I will be sharing with you the 3 working cures to eradicate Poverty epidemic.
(1). Righteousness
Your spiritual soundness is one of the salient and vital keys to prosperity in all dimensions (including finance). God’s prosperity plan does not answer to the perverse and crooked, it answers to the solid based spirit entity.
For instance, Job who happened to be the greatest among all the men in the east was a godly man. And both God & the devil testified of his righteousness.
“Job was perfect and upright, and one that feared God and eschewed evil. His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men in the east.” (Job.1:1&3)
Health is Wealth, Righteousness is Health
The underline truth of a common saying that Health is wealth can never be overemphasized. Yes, you need health to command wealth because prosperity is a function of healthy living of which righteousness engenders.
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.” (3Jhn 2)
The scope of the prosperity that righteousness guarantees is not limited to you alone, It also covers the generation yet unborn.
There are some born-again christians that are still under the curses that their parents brought upon their lives as a result of sin, but if they can subscribe to the demand of righteousness, these curses would be reversed and averted.
There are no clinics under the sun that can cure curses neither are there any psychological treatments for curses anywhere in the world.
Righteousness is the only working cure for a curse. Uprightness facilitates the release and transfer of blessings over your life and the generation yet to come respectively (blessings are reversal of curses).
“Praise yes the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon the earth: the generation not the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth forever.” (Psalm.112:1-3)
Let me add you a bonus, righteousness also cures the sickness of business failure. “The righteous shall grow like a palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” (Psalm.92:12)
(2). Love
Life is not about what you take; it’s all about what you give. Every lover is a giver, every giver is not a lover because people give for the wrong motives (especially people who give money for bribes). The best way to demonstrate your love for someone is to give. For God so loves the world and He gave.. (John.3:16). Solomon loved God and him only offered 1000 burnt offerings as a sacrifice in Gibeon. What about Noah or Abraham who would not withhold his long awaited son from God.
And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord ; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. [21] And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. [22] While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease. (Genesis 8:20-22)
Understand that the scope of our covenant requirement of giving is not confined by the walls of tithe and offerings. It covers all humanitarian aspects of life.
Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. (Psalm 41:1)
The reason behind the wealth of Solomon was his solid determination to build and complete the temple of God. Therefore, prosperity is entrusted to him. If God doesn’t trust you whether you’re going to abuse His wealth or not, he won’t give it to you.
Until you’re trusted with it, you can’t have access to the treasures of heaven because they are released on the basis of promoting the kingdom.
If you love God, you will obey His commandments, commit to His interests, and love His house.
“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”(1 John 5:3)
(3). Obedience Of Faith
Abraham stood too solid with God even at the age of 75 he was still believing that God would fulfil His promise. Don’t just obey, obey believing.
Abraham took Isaac for sacrifice as God ordered, he did not expect his son to die, because he knew that God was about to show him another side of Himself. If he killed Isaac, God would wake him up, that was his thought. There was no air of doubt in him at all. For that reason, God blessed him beyond measures.
Hear this one: God is not in need of our seed. If He is need we are the least people he would consult. Every scriptural commandment is for your benefit, what is the basis for your depression? You’re not adding to God, you’re adding to yourself.
“Can somebody prosper in this country?” “Nobody can prosper in this country except you’re a thief.” “No body can build a house in this country.” Here are words that are contrary to your acts. Your words are seeds sowed that will yield their fruits (positive or negative) in time being.
Final Thoughts
Now you have it, the three working cures for poverty:
- Righteousness,
- Love &
- Faith
Poverty is like a communicable disease that spreads from one generation to another until someone rise and get rid of it, the miserable cycle continues from one generation to another.
