It Begins With Faith Is Out!

Greatness is our birthright in Christ. We are redeemed to be great. In Luke 1:32, the angel of the Lord said to Mary: “He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High God.” That means Jesus was sent to be great. “As my father has sent me, so I send you,” he explained. —John 20:21. So, you are sent to be great as Christ was sent to be great. But in reality, why are only few people manifest their greatness potential in Christ? The answer is obvious. For lack of knowledge, God’s people have gone into captivity.

The sad thing is that some born-again Christians see greatness as an ambition. They think Christianity connotes suffering. They hold a paralytic view of “they must be poor to make heaven.” To them, fewness is synonymous with consecration. The truth is that Christ has redeemed us to be great, blessed, and be a blessing to the world around us. If an earthly father does give good gifts to their children, how much more is our father in heaven? God wants you to be great. There is a seed of greatness in you when you were born. For the seed to bear its fruit in your life, you must first be aware of your heritage of greatness. Many are sincere, but only a few are aware. You don’t know if your father has an inheritance, so you can’t claim it when he is gone.

The elder brother of the prodigal son was a symbol of dedication. He contributed a lot to the success of his father’s business. Contrary, the prodigal son collected his inheritance and lavished everything on riotous living. Then, he called himself to a meeting, repented (to repent means to rethink), and went back to his father. The father was happy and welcomed his lost-but-found son with a party. The elder brother was infuriated at the father’s actions. Here is how the father responded: “Look, dear son, you have always stayed by me, and everything I have is yours. We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!”—Luke 15:31-32, NLT.

You see, you can be committed to the things of God and still not enjoy their benefits. The elder brother didn’t know that everything that his father had also belonged to him. This is the picture of many born-again Christians today. Out of sheer ignorance, they’ve lost their blessings to the devil. What you think is who you become. You can’t think of fewness and arrive at greatness. It’s a biblical commandment that can never be broken.

Truly, we all have the heritage of greatness in Christ, but not all will taste it. The goal of this book is for you to have a mind transplant from darkness into light. Journey To Greatness

Greatness is our birthright in Christ. We are redeemed to be great. Jesus was sent to be great. And he has also sent us to be great.

“And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great…” (Luke.1:31-32).

“So, Jesus said to them, “Peace be to you; just as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.” (John.20:21).

If greatness is our heritage in Christ, then how can we walk in its reality?

What Makes for Greatness?

Meekness. Your level of meekness cannot supersede your level of greatness. Moses was the meekest man on earth (Numbers.12:3). The meekest Moses was the greatest in the land (Exodus 11:3).

And the LORD gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover, the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharoah’s servants and in the sight of the people (Ex.11:3).

For instance, David was serving when they called him to become king. Some too many arrogant people cannot serve their way to the top.

The fear of God. Your journey to greatness begins with godliness. For instance, Joseph feared God, and he became great. Daniel would rather die than defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat (Daniel 2:8). As a result, he was influential in six kingdoms. No one fears God and become irrelevant. Your relevance is a function of your godly living. Job was a man who hated evil and loved good. He was an upright man. God and the devil testified to his uprightness. As a result, he was the greatest man in the land of Uz (Job.1:1-3). He owned the largest business of his time, and he experienced all-round fruitfulness.

What Are The Benefits of Fearing God?

Divine secrets. The psalmist says that the secret of the Lord is with those that fear him (Psalm.25:14). Job says “as I was in the days of my youth when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle.” (Job.29:4). We have the mind of Christ by fearing him. God only entrusts his secrets to those who fear him. Revelation is one of our greatest assets in the kingdom. Manifestation is a function of revelation.

Divine Prosperity. Ungodliness is one of the surest ways to get into poverty. On the other hand, righteousness is the gateway to transgenerational wealth. The blessing of the righteous does not stop with the righteous, but it covers his children. (Psalm. 112:1-3).

“Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in His commandments. His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed. Wealth and riches will be in his house, And his righteousness endures forever. (Psalm.112:3)

All-round fruitfulness. Fruitfulness is not limited to the fruit of the womb. Someone can be barren financially. The master key to business breakthrough is righteousness (Psalm 92:12). If nothing is working in your business, check the level of your righteousness. One of the cheapest ways to end ups and downs in business is to take up righteous living.

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in his law doth he meditates day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither, and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” (Psalm.1:1-3)

Divine well-being. Health is wealth. Righteousness promotes good health, which promotes wealth. To achieve big things in life, you must have good health and strength. To carry out exploits, you don’t need to know any mortal man. Exploits are something that no one’s eyes or ears have ever seen or heard before (1. Corinthians.2:9). Recording-breaking experience is the hallmark of exploits.

“And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” (Daniel.11:32).

In Christ, exploits are your birthright. Longevity is associated with good health and strength. The fear of God makes you appear younger than your actual age. It ensures long life and good old age. Life is a choice, and disobedience makes you seem ugly, battered, and wretched. The aces are in your hands.

You were born to be great in the same way that Jesus was sent to be great. Before you can be a part of this greatness, you must first become a member of the great family. Change your biological ancestors to Christ’s family, where poverty, sickness, and disease have no place. Accept and declare Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Join in a bible-believing church. By observing God’s commands, you can strengthen your faith.
