TIPS TO EARN GOOD GRADES IN VARSITY

• Be a covenant practitioner–There are two approaches to life the spiritual and physical approach. You will need to settle the spiritual aspect first before you can emerged successful in the physical. Enter into a covenant with God by obeying all His commandments.
• Be disciplined – Do not go to varsity with a television box. I am a big fan of movie myself, but I did not watch many movies when I was in the varsity. Stay away from television box as far as possible. Those who have big televisions  watch those with big libraries in televisions. Eat moderately as it will help studies, and do not be addicted to smart phones and social media. You will need to programme yourself, have a fixed time that you come online for updates and replies to messages, have fixed time-table for studies, have fixed periods to serve your God. Fixed everything.

• Follow instructions –To emerge a conqueror in any endeavour of life will require compliance to every instruction both scriptural and physical.  Instructions matters a lot. So, do not neglect instructions.

 

• Attend lectures–Lectures are very important. It is just like you are wasting your hard earned parents’ money when you are not attending lectures. Your rapt attention is needed in each class you attend. Don’t do side talks when lecture is going on. Listen attentively!!!!
• Be a note-taker –Do not rely only on jotter. You can have a jotter in order to jot some points but you must also get yourself a good notebook. Please don’t be stingy when it comes to the aspect of buying books. Some lecturers will like to dictate notes while others will lecture.
• Be curious – Being curious here means you should do research on your own. Because, in a Nigeria varsity system, once your lecturer has given the course outlines in the first class he assumes that he has done 70% of the job. You might not be thought the whole course outlines especially when the semester is short. There are some school research facilities that you can utilized. You can go  to the library and know something concerning every topic which you have not been thought.
• Buy text books – If you can’t afford all the textbooks, try to buy the ones which relate to the compulsory courses and also study them. There are some students who will have money to do other things except their academic stuffs.
• Be studious – Study! Study!! Study!!! Just make sure that you are studying.
• Have positive mindsets – Always think, speak of good grades and not bad grades. you can only have what you believe.
• Write CA and Exams – Prepare for the exams. Have positive mindset that you are earning good grades and not bad grades. Speak of the results you want to see only and do not let others bring you down. Write your exams adequately.  Do not do ‘microchips’ ( cheat), believe in yourself, and rely on your God.
