The Power of Kingdom Principles

If you believe something to be true, do not allow anything or anyone to stop you from living by it.

The worst thing that can happen to a believer is compromise. People don’t remember a compromiser, only those that stand for what’s right, even if would take their lives, are the ones that make history. You cannot beat them by joining them. Stand out, don’t fit in. Don’t follow convention, it kills creativity. Because others are doing it, doesn’t mean you should do it.

I love principles—especially biblical principles. I am a man of principles. And I am proud to be.

Biblical principles protect life. They serve as guides or life templates to success. If you are not principled, you’ll struggle in life; you’ll be drifted here and there a million times by others’ concepts (others’ opinions), and get nowhere.

For instance, if God gives you a dream anybody can talk you out of it. Understand this we are not meant to live by others’ concepts but by God’s concepts. You can learn from others but never become them. What God could tell you to do in life may be different from what He tells others. That does not mean you should throw away what God says and do what others people think (feel right) you should do. Always obey God rather than men.

If your principles are authentic, there’s nothing that should be allowed to talk you out of it. No matter how the WORLD is doing it; it’s what the WORD says that matters.

God’s word is 70% principles and 30% doctrines. All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness. 2. Timothy.3:16

Nelson Mandela said something about principles that changes my thinking. He said, “anyone who changes his principles, cannot lead a nation.”

The Bible is a book of principles. It’s the manufacturer’s manual that guides humanity on a profitable living. It teaches us how to profit. You are not meant to struggle in life. Struggle and stress come by not following the manual because you are living outside the creator’s design.

Every product you buy comes with a manual. Before you use a product you are expected to first read and understand its manual. The manual simply means the manufacturer’s mind. Most manufacturers of a product offer a guarantee only if the product is used according to the instructions of the manual otherwise there is no guarantee.

Many of us live our lives outside God’s principles (manual) and when we become defective we run to God for a repair. Thank God for His mercy. Even though God is merciful, you don’t have to be defective before you remember God.

The principles of God do not exclude preachers. It speaks to everybody. It’s easy to tell others to do something difficult for you to do. Only the doer-not the preacher nor the hearer-enjoys the benefits of following God’s principles.

“But be doers of the Word [obey the message], and not merely listeners to it, betraying yourselves [into deception by reasoning contrary to the Truth].

For if anyone only listens to the Word without obeying it and being a doer of it, he is like a man who looks carefully at his [own] natural face in a mirror;

For he thoughtfully observes himself, and then goes off and promptly forgets what he was like.

But he who looks carefully into the faultless law, the [law] of liberty, and is faithful to it and perseveres in looking into it, being not a heedless listener who forgets but an active doer [who obeys], he shall be blessed in his doing (his life of obedience). James 1:22-25

It’s not about the entrance of the word; it’s about your entrance (diving in) into the word that makes it works. For instance, you could read the manual of a product and still not do what it says, and the consequence of that’s a malfunction. Until you plug into the principle of the kingdom, a manifestation of blessings is farfetched.

The Bible (the book of God’s principles) offers multipurpose solutions to all life’s problems. You can use it to give your business a new shape and restore a marriage that’s on the verge of separation or divorce.

If your current challenge is a financial hardship, key into the principle of seed and harvest time (see. Genesis.8:22), if you are not a giver you can not prosper—kingdom prosperity does not answer to prayer and fasting; If you are facing a health challenge, serve your way out of it (see Exodus.23:25); If you do not have a child, rejoice. Joy is the antidote for barrenness. He maketh the barren woman to keep house and be a joyful mother of children. Praise ye the LORDPsalm.113:9.

Understanding the way all these principles work and applying them would make your life easier. You don’t have to get things done yourself with struggle, allow God to help you by keying into His principles. Kingdom Principles are life savers—not doing it you would be wasting your Life and time.

Isn’t obvious that a young lady who chooses a Muslim as a husband to marry is heading for trouble? The word of God says do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers (2. Cor.6:14); can two walk together if they do not agree? (see Amos.3:3). A wife who is not submissive should not expect love from her husband and a man who doesn’t love his wife should not expects submission from his wife. (Ephesians.5:5-6)

You cannot be anointed for borrowing and expect freedom from financial slavery. Our common sense should tell us when we spend more than what we earn we would be bankrupt. Why do the so-called believers still borrow money to buy things they cannot afford? The scripture says borrowers are servants of the lenders (see Proverbs.22:7). Borrowing is not not a sin, but weight (see Hebrew.12:1).

The Kingdom principle is key to life. Discover the one that addresses your life’s circumstance and applies it aptly.
