Psalm 68:6 KJV
God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land .
God is the ‘setter’ of solitary in the family. If you’re
genuine sons and daughters of God; that means your marital destiny isn’t far from being blissful. Marriage is honourable; It’s a good thing. The word of God says, He that findeth a wife find a good thing; two are better than one, it isn’t good for a man to be alone. A tension free (hitch free) marriage answers to God’s favour.
Proverbs 18:22 KJV
Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing , and obtaineth favour of the Lord .
Genesis 2:18 KJV
And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.
Remember, you’re what you think; if you think that marriage is a relationship between cat and rat (as a bachelor) that is how it’s going to be when you’re married.
Proverbs 23:7 KJV
For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
If Jesus Christ could manage His relationship with the twelve disciples without a fight; I don’t see any reason why a marriage of a believer should be filled with incessant arguments and fighting. If I don’t fight as a bachelor; marriage should be able to take me far away from it.
Life is a choice; a marriage without Christ will be full of crises. Choose wisely today! Never choose to marry a guy or a lady just because of his or her beauty. Beauty without wisdom is destruction. Be wise!!
In our culture, many men who are controlled by their parents; whatever their mother says is the final: This has been the reason why many marriages are unsettled today. He is an adult; but he can’t make decision of his own because he lacks authority over the issues of life.
Listen to me: If you choose not to abide in Christ today; you will be gathered by people like firewood and casted into the fire for destruction (you will be mishandled by fellows humans).
John 15:5-6 KJV
I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. [6] If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
Finally, secured you marriage in Christ; God’s principles are the best. Let the word of God be the yardstick of measurement. By so doing, your marriage will be free from any form pressure and attack.
