Love is a combination of the word that we receive, believe and obey.
John 14:21 KJV
“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.”
Every genuine love requires a sacrifice. The alter of sacrifice is the alter of sworn blessings. It requires a sacrificial approach to move God.
Genesis 8:20-22 KJV
“And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord ; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. [21] And the Lord smelled a sweet savour; and the Lord said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done. [22] While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease.”
How can I love God?
Be kingdom minded
Being kingdom minded means allowing the interest of God’s kingdom be at the center of your life. By making the God’s kingdom your priority in life. This is where the supernatural grace flows. Kingdom mindedness is the cardinal mark of love.
Matthew 6:9-10 KJV
“After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. [10] Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.”
In the lord’s prayer after Thanksgiving, the next item is the kingdom of God before asking for daily bread. That shows your God’s heart beats for His Kingdom.
Most of the things we called prayers are noise. Most of our prayers are self-centered. If you can change the focus of your prayer towards the progress of God’s kingdom, you will see blessings overflowing in all spheres of life naturally.
Engaging on the prayer alter on behalf of the unsaved to be saved – I call it ‘prayergelism’- is part of being kingdom minded. Embarking on outreaches, evangelism are part of being kingdom minded. You don’t have to struggle to get things done in life. Just understand the key that unlocks the supernatural.
Matthew 6:33 KJV
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”
