A Spiritual Perspective: Structural & Strategic Planning

A business woman making plans

Spirituality is not against reasoning. It’s spirituality that empowers your reasoning for productive results. I don’t know what you tend to create or you have been creating already. Whatever it’s, make sure that you have a plan.

Before you start any business, there is something that is called the Business Plan that requires you to conduct a feasibility study in order to come up with a generalization of whether the business is viable or not.

Tap into the power of planning. You should not wait until you become big before you plan, you plan to become big. It’s structural and strategic planning that make you big in all your endeavours. The best place to begin is the beginning.

Calculate your costs before building something. For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it ?

Calculate cost before starting a business

A building without a foundation will soon crumble to the ground in mean time. In the beginning, God said, let there be light, and there was light. if there was no light other things – humans, animals and plants – could not survive. Therefore, light must come first before other things could follow.

Our God is a God of order, His area of expertise is to follow every procedure in sequence. Before you can receive His blessings you must obey and He is serious about it (James.1:22-25). If you’re a true son and daughter of God put things in order after the order of your father.

There is an acceptable structure for everything you will ever intend to create in life. Gather all the facts and information, as much as possible, about what you’re creating; mediates, digest, diagnose, strategize and come up with a quality structure with some elements of originality.

Your father is creative, your strategic structure should not be generic. Although you’re are adopting a universal structure, yet you should be innovative, your structure should suit your need. Your structure is your identity, it’s peculiar to you and it can’t be found anywhere else.

Until your blueprint has gained divine approval you can never be successful at what you’re creating. So, present an acceptable blueprint to God for an approval.

For instance, many people start business without adequate records of income and expenses being kept. So, they are just running the business anyhow, spending all the money – profits plus capital altogether.

Some have structures on paper when they began but not being implemented in reality due to lack of discipline, while others don’t have any structure at all, these explain why many businesses collapsed before they see the light of the day. There has been no solid foundation or structure of which the businesses was planted upon.

Here is what the scripture says for anyone intending to go into an enterprise or start creating something of values:

Any enterprise is built by wise planning, becomes strong through common sense, and profits wonderfully by keeping abreast with the facts. – Prov.24:3-5

Any enterprise is built by wise planning

Mark the phrase, keeping abreast with the facts. You need to acquire some facts in oder to come out with some better plans. This is why you need to seek for adequate information on any assignment placed before you. Read and learn everywhere. And most importantly ask God to give you His plan (because God will not come to finish what He did not start).

Scriptural perspective about anger

Scriptural perspective

Anger breeds conflicts, fights and wars; creates an atmosphere of confusion and causes devastation.

What does the scripture says about anger?

Anger is a function of foolishness. When a wise man speaks, you will quickly identify by his word. Take for instance, Jesus was sitting among the elites teaching them in wisdom and they were all amazed. His wisdom could be easily perceived by His word.

Ecclesiastes 7:9 KJV
Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools.

A word can heal a wound or tear down a fellow. Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Prov.18:21).

Anger is a sin – James 1:19-20 KJV
Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: [20] For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Sin ruptured the link between men and God – the destiny of men became fractured because of sin. As life is a choice, as Godliness is a choice, anger is a choice more than anything. Your agreement to a sinful act is required before its full manifestation. Anger can erodes our dignity in Christ. Daniel made a choice and he ruled with kings and same thing happened to Joseph.

A powerful force behind anger is the spirit of disobedience and to conquer the spirit of disobedience the spirit of obedience is required. One of the spirits is from above while the other came from beneath. He that is above is above all (Jn.3:31).

Ephesians 2:2 KJV
Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:

Ezekiel 36:27 KJV
And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them .

Sin instills fear while righteousness establishes confidence and boldness. Adam sinned and his first uttered statement was “I am afraid”. Many believers are ruled by fear today due to unrighteousness and disobedience.

Proverbs 28:1 KJV
The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.
