Love: the master key to overflowing blessings (b)

Benefits of being kingdom minded

Being kingdom minded engenders divine favour and open rewards. What others are running after will be running after you. Traffics can be redirected for your sake

1 Kings 17:13-16 KJV
“And Elijah said unto her, Fear not; go and do as thou hast said: but make me thereof a little cake first, and bring it unto me, and after make for thee and for thy son. [14] For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth. [15] And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. [16] And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the Lord , which he spake by Elijah.”

Matthew 6:33 KJV
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

If God’s Kingdom does not holds any attraction to you don’t expect God to commit Himself to your welfares.

How can I love God?

Obey God’s commands

God is a commander. He primarily operates on commandments which are nonnegotiable. His commandments are attached together with blessings and benefits. Obedience to God’s injunctions is the capital evidence of love.

John 14:21 KJV
“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.”

Sometimes, God’s injunctions or instructions might look very stupid, it might look too simple. But listen, that is the answer to your problems.

One thing I would also like us to know is that there is no fear in love. Anxiety is the cardinal evidence of doubt. U can’t love your spouse and be afraid of him/her.

1 John 4:18 KJV
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.”
