First and foremost, you need to understand that the devil has no power. He has been stripped of all power and honour ever since he fell, all powers now belong to God whom you are. I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High (Psalm.82:6)
Every scriptural practitioner has been ordained to walk in an hurt free zone. No ordinary man who can walk through the valley of the shadow of death and come out alive (expect you are a spirit). But a supernatural man who is a god and a spirit will walk through this zone and come out unscratched. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me(Psalm. 23:4).
For a fellow to become a scriptural practitioner, he must first become a Certified & Chartered biblical student.
Understand this: principality is not your problem, your problem is ignorance. Knowledge is the key to liberty. You can’t be lighted and be tormented. Interestingly, darkness does not struggles with light. The moment you turn on the light in your room what does darkness do? Disappears! Darkness has no choice but to fizzles out. Light and darkness can’t coexist in the same place.
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. (1John.1:5)
No devil dares lighted men no matter how professional or experienced they are. An enemy fears them to his pant. The word of God is the carrier of the light of God. It is the incoming of the word of God that sparks off the light. The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple (psalm. 119:130).
Knowledge is the key to dominion. Paul was a strong advocate of knowledge, that’s why he was telling his ministry son, Timothy…Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.(2Tim.2:15).
Daniel (the great statesman), understood by book, In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books….(Dan.9:2).
During Jesus’ earthly ministry, He had a reading culture. And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read (Luke.4:16).
If you are really serious about dealing with the devil who has been hindering your progress in life hitherto,study the scripture (the bible is a solution book), read books by anointed men of God, listen to tapes and podcasts from anointed servants of God, there are answers in them.
Secondly, Meditate on God’s word always – God has not called you to meditate on your problems rather than His word. Meditation is to rub minds with God, it is the act or process of reasoning with God. Studying God’s word, meditating on His word and obeying His Instructions on a constant basis are the keys to a ‘sustained success.’ They work like fire! Joshua gives this success formula:
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success. (Jos.1:8)
