The Commandment of Praise

Don’t question God, question yourself. Don’t blame God, blame yourself.  God does not owe you anything. You owe God obedience to the commandment of praise. Praise is a commandment. “Let everything that that breath praise the Lord.” Ps.150:6. Until you put on the garment of praise by entering into the commandment of praise, don’t expect anything to happen. Your mountain issues remain at the spot when you neglect the commandment of praise.

When you wait for something spectacular to occur before you enter into praise, you will wait till eternal. Stop praising God occasionally, start praising God regularly.

What are the virtues and values in praise?

  • There is an access to an outbreak of unending revelation in praise. “But my horn shall thou exalt like the horn of an unicorn: I shall be anointed with fresh oil.” PS.92:10. Fresh oil means fresh revelation. Must you let the oil in your vechile go stale before you change it? The kind of praise i’m talking about, is a praise lifestyle. Let praise become part of you. Become an addicted praise warrior.

Revelation equals manifestation. Nothing come to be until they are first revealed unto you. Life answers to seeing, life does answers to looking.”For all the land which thou seesth, to thee I will give, and to thy seed forever.” Gen. 13:15. Seeing precedes getting. A future that you cannot picture, don’t expect to feature in it. It is what God show you that make you a show in your world. A consistent praiseful lifestyle is the gateway to divine direction. Let God lead you, without Him you can do nothing. “I am the vine ye are the branches: He that abideth in me and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.” Jn.15:5. Revelation without obedience equals frustration.

  • There is victory over battles in praise – Don’t ever be bigger than God, God does not lift the proud, He only lift the humble while he brings down the proud. In David’s meetings with God, He praised God for five times and prayed twice. David praised God in the dance neglecting all royal protocols. David danced like a mad man. This was the secret of his victory over battles. “And David danced before the lord with all his might…” 2.Sam.6:14

Praise is a warfare weapon at which all our battles in life are transfered to God. Those who praise God are spectators in their own fight. “And when they began to sing and to praise and the Lord set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab and mount seir, which were come against Judah, and they were smitten.” 2.Chr.20:22

God is not responsible for your ordeal, woes and misfortunes, you are the one responsible. Check yourself. Everyman is responsible for the outcome of his life. God does not speak empty word. God has integrity. He is more faithful than you and I.  He has never fail, He can never and He will never fail. “God is not a man that He should lie; neither the son of man that He should repent: hath he said, and shall He not do it, or hath He spoken, shall He not make it good?” Num.23:19. The scripture can never be broken, not even by God himself. “If he called them gods Unto whom the word came  and the scripture cannot be broken. Jn.10:35
