Godliness – the covenant gateway to greatness in 2019 (B)

The covenant gateway to victory

Continues…

What are the forces behind ungodly living?

We need to know that behind every ungodliness there is a spirit. What are the spirits? (Anywhere where you see spirit in the scripture it talks about the Holy spirit)

(a). The spirit of disobedience – The spirit of disobedience is responsible for every act of disobedience to scriptural injunctions. It takes a stronger spirit to destroy the weaker spirit. I pray that you receive fresh baptism of the spirit of obedience in the name of Jesus.

“Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:” – Eph.2:2
“And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them .” – Ez.36:27

The spirit of disobedience at work explains why a smoker will not stop smoking even when it’s written on cigarette that he will die young. It baffles me, this is out of ordinary. There are some people that have lost a quantum number of their years to the smoking of cigarette. Cigarette is a satanic addiction!

(b). The spirit of lies – Lies erode our redemptive dignity in Christ. It washes away our royalty. Lies as tiny as it is disqualifies for heaven.

“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. [15] For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”  – Rev.22:14-15
“He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.” – PS.101:7

Our journey to greatness begins with Godliness

How do I overcome ungodly living?

(I). Faith – Believe in perfection. It’s what you believe that you’re empowered to become. You’re what you think (Prov.27:3). If you think that perfection is not possible you will never come close to perfect.

“Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.” – Mat.5:48

(ii). Watch out for wrong association – Friendship is not by force, it’s by choice. There is no association that leaves you neutral; your friends can either make you or break you.

“Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” – 1.Cor.15:33
“He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.” – prov.13:20

(iii). Prayer – Prayer against temptation is a prayer to pray. Consciously cultivate the habit of praying against temptation on a daily basis.

“And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.” –  Mat.6:13

(iv). Fasting – There is a yoke destroying power in fasting. Unwanted habits like Lesbianism, masturbation, stealing, smoking, corruption, bribery, lieing, etc can only give way and be done away with by fasting and prayer.

“Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?” – Is.58:6

(v). Choice – Our choice is our greatest weapon against ungodliness. Godliness is primarily a function of choice. Life is all about issue of choices and not chances. Our choice can overrun sin. Daniel was enthroned by choice.

“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.” – Dan.1:8

Godliness: the covenant gateway to greatness in 2019

The covenant gateway to victory

This post has been designed for those that will be great in 2019.

Onto the Post..

Greatness is not an ambition it is a birthright. Jesus Christ was sent to be great and so also He sent us.

“And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. [31] And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. [32] He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.” – Luke.1:30-33

By redemption, we have been qualified to partake of Abraham’s covenant of greatness through Jesus Christ.

“As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations. [5] Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. [6] And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee. [7] And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.” – Gen.17:4-7
“Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham. That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.” –  Gal.3:7/14

Our journey to greatness in life begins with Godliness. Take Job, Daniel and Joseph as case studies. Job who was the greatest of all the men in the east was testified by God that he hates sin and loves righteousness.

“There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil. [2] And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters. [3] His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east. And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?” – Job.1:1-3/8

Moreover, the great state man, Daniel. He purposed in his heart to never defiled himself with the king’s meat, no  wonder Daniel reigned in six kingdoms. The king worshipped Daniel and called him a god’s name as a result of his righteous living.

“But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with the portion of the king’s meat, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself. And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm.” – Dan.1:8/20

In Dan.6:5, They couldn’t find anything against Daniel other than his God. Godliness is the master key to greatness

“Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.” – Dan.2:46

And wait a minute, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego would rather die than to bow for the golden image of the king. Joseph understood that his destiny would be tied down and flee fornication. Godliness is the key to divine favour. The master had no choice than to make Joseph the lord of all he had. Choose to be different! Don’t perish with the crowd. You can’t beat them by joining them.

“There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back any thing from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? [12] And she caught him by his garment, saying, Lie with me: and he left his garment in her hand, and fled, and got him out.” – Gen.39:9/12

Realising the key to a flourished business

Happy Sunday and father’s day🙂

Dropping a key for flourishing business

This afternoon, I’m dropping a key to a flourished business. A flourished business answers to the righteousness of its owner. Righteousness is the master key to unlock the door of booming business.

What did you think that was accounted for the prosperity of Job? The scripture says Job fears God and hates evil that he was the greatest of all the men in the east, even the devil witnessed this. Therefore, the fear of God is the gateway to a flourished business.

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was job; and that man was perfect and upright, and the one that feared God and eschewed evil.

And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.

His substance also was seven thousands sheep, and three thousands camels, and five hundred yokes of oxen, and five hundred she assess, and a very great household;  so that this man was the greatest of all the men in the east.”Job.1:1-3.

In the light of the scriptures above, Job had seven sons and three daughters, which symbolizes family’s fruitiness, not only that, Job had seven thousands sheep, and three thousands camel, and five hundred yokes of oxen, and five hundred she asses.

During the biblical periods, the rearing of sheep and camel were big time businesses. Don’t forget that Job was upright, written in verse 1, he fears God and hates evil. Thus, his righteousness is what qualifies him for his flourishing business and family.

Flourishing business

In some other scriptures,

” The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.” PS.92:12.

“Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

But his delight is in the law of the lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruits in his season; his leaf shall also not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” PS.1:1-3

Comparing these scriptures with the other scriptures, they all placed emphasis on righteousness as the condition for prosperity in business. These are not coincidences.

Obedience and righteousness are inseparable, righteousness and flourished business can’t be separated also. This is divine order of things.

Until you become righteous by doing what the word says, don’t expect to be free from all business dearths and draughts.

Breaking the siege of Failure and Stagnation

Failure and stagnation are not part of the deal. The condition for success is for us to buy into the first commandment.

And thou shalt love the lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.” Mark.12:30.

Breaking the siege of failure and stagnation

This scripture also goes in line with the success formula handed over to Joshua,

This book of law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shall meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shall make thy way prosperous; and then thou shalt have good success.” Jos.1:8

Where is failure now coming from? How come has failure becomes your neighbour? Where did you get it from? It is alien to your kind.

As long as you are serving God with all you have: time, money, materials and others resources, your success is guaranteed.

Change your language, what your believe affects your language. What you believe affects what you say. If you keep saying “this business is not working” you’ve just said it, it is regarded accomplished. There are angels who are in charge of executing whatever you says. So, the angels have got the job done. Train your mind and your mouth to say the positive. Whatever you can’t picture with your inner mouth (mind) and sound (declare) with your outer mouth, don’t expect the heaven to confirms it.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue.” Prov.18:21

As he thinketh in his heart so he is” Prov.23:7.

There is no slow motion in righteousness. Sin is the root of all delays and stagnations. Righteousness guarantees your change of levels.

Breaking the siege of failure and stagnation
A picture of a non-functioning filling station. Unrighteousness makes you go into extinction.

In case your destiny have been stagnant before now, repent of all unrighteousness and you’ll see changes. If these apply to you; When your mates have gained admission, you are still seeking, when your mates have graduated, you’re still held down on campus with a basket of carryovers, when your mates have married; your chance of getting married becomes very bleak. Repent of unrighteousness and you will experience speed in every sphere of existence.

In the scripture, we are told that whatever the righteous does, he shall prosper.

“And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers, that bringeth forth his fruits in his season; his leaf  also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.” PS.1:3

Righteous qualifies you for a flourishing state. You can’t be righteous and have no flourishing business. Nothing is permitted to die in the hands of a righteous fellow.

The righteous shall flourish like a palm tree: he shall grow like the cedar from Lebanon.” Psalm.92:12.

Sin places weight on a man’s destiny while righteousness facilitates speed. Live right! It pays to live right. Live right today! 🙂

The righteous is as bold as a lion; Sin kills boldness.

Sin places weight on a man’s destiny.  Righteousness instills boldness while sin kills confidence. “The wicked  flee when no one pursueth: but the righteous are bold as lion.” Prov.28:1.

The righteous is as bold as lion.

Nobody is perfect, righteousness is not just a stainless  perfection, it is the desperate efforts of man in order to please God.

Sin makes a man’ s journey in life to be slow while righteousness facilitates speed in life.

Your body is the temple of God, you are God’s building, God’s building is a prayer house. A prayer house is a power house. Preserve your body from all sinful habits. “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and the spirit of God dwelleth in you.” 1.Cor.3:16 “And he said unto them, it is written,  my house shall be made the house of prayer; but ye have made it a den of thieves.” Mat.21:13. “Ye are God’s building.” 1.cor.3:9

Go and end that relationship that you are into which your partner is desperate to have sex with you by all means thereby ruining and shattering  your glorious destiny.

Get this straight: If you think that having sex with him will makes him marry you, it is a lie from the pit of hell. Hello, Sex is not food, sex is met for reproduction.

Premarital sex is a sin, and not inline with God’s principle. God’s principle is the best.

Naturally speaking, sex before marriage have caused a lot of young girls to stop their study at a very tender age as a result of unwanted pregnancy. Many have become victims of HIV/AIDs due to fornication and adultery. I am against the use of condom, it is nonsense, abstinence is the best principle.

Say no to pre-marital sex and teenage pregnancy.

Many young girls have been emotionally and psychologically derailed due to heart broken. Heart broken has made many to commit suicides and die untimely death. Your heart is made of plastic, that is why a foolish boy can break it. Nobody can break my heart. God is the number one in my heart.

Naturally speaking, smoking  is dangerous to the health. Study shows that a puff of  cigarette can takes 10seconds, out of a person’s life while a cigarette takes  7 to 10 mins out of a person’s life.

A smoke can takes 7 to 10 minutes out of your life.

In most cases, sin comes in form of opportunity and enticement. You don’t smell what you won’t eat, stay away from all sinful habits.

There is no one who can’t be tempted. Temptation has no respect for anyone, even Jesus the Jesus was tempted by the devil but thank God He made proper application of the scripture to counter and defeat the wicked.

Your knowledge of the word of God is the antidotes against temptation. An empty brain on divine contents will surely fall into temptation. Whenever, temptation comes apply the right scripture/scriptures, call the name of Jesus and  the tempter will flee.

The best approach at dealing with sin is to flee, run!. An example was Joseph, he flee from the wife of Potiphar who had enticed him to sleep with her. Joseph later became a prime minister as a reward for  his righteous behaviour. “Flee fornication. Every sin that  man doeth is without the body; but he that continueth fornication sinneth against his own body.” 1.Cor.6:18

Listen to this: sin is an obstacle against a  man’s glorious destiny. Watch the way you dress. The way you dress you will be addressed. Stop dressing like an harlot. You can’t be going far in life and dress as such. Your dressing portray who you are and where you are going.

Someone leaving Nigeria to meet Trump in the US will surely dress to fit the occasion. That is someone going far. Someone going a neighbour house might wear slippers even put on rags, if she is the type. That shows she is not going far.

It's possible to wait to have sex for the first time on your wedding night.

Many of us will love to go the church to pick our wives and not at the club. Don’t just marry him because you are Janet and he is John (J&J). Don’t just marry a lady because she has painted her face with cosmetics. Get hook and connects with someone who has divine attributes, bookish, intelligent, intellectual, prayerful and lover of God.
