It’s foolishness to be shameful of what is gainful. Don’t be ashamed to identify with Jesus.
God is still rewriting stories, opening up new chapters, turning people to living wonders and transforming destinies like a dream of the night. What your efforts can’t earn you in 100 years time, God will give you in a twinkle of an eye. Time spent with God is far better than a life time of efforts and struggles.
There are opportunities everywhere but mankind are blind to see it. Every opportunity to serve God is an opportunity to get blessed. Really, every man is responsible for the outcome of his life. The aces are in your hands, it depends on how you play them. Life is a choice. Don’t blame anybody, blame yourself. It is not God, spouse, government, parents, family and friends that are responsible for your predicament, it is YOU.
The ball is in your court. You have the opportunity to choose between life and death, light and darkness, abundance and hunger, Prosperity and poverty, sweet and sweat, health and sickness. Don’t blame God, blame yourself. God has not changed, He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all (1.John.1:5).
There is no middle way, it’s either you serve God or the devil – just as light and darkness can’t coexist. Serving God is not a waste of time. God does not use people, He blesses people. God is not a taskmaster, He is a paymaster. You’re not serving God for nothing, you’re serving God for something. What you think and say are all that determine who becomes of you (Prov.18:21). Get God committed to your interest by committing yourself to His interests.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you (Mathew.6:33).
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon (Mathew.6:24).
Within 3 months, Nehemiah – a cup bearer – became a governor. Joseph was promoted from prison to palace – what a dramatic change of story. Same order of dramatic change of story still happens today. Wake up! This is not a drama neither a fantasy. Be real, don’t be religious. Jewish people were very religious people but they still went into captivity. It’s possible to be religious and still be buffeted.
You have done you all you know how to do, let God does what you don’t know how to do. Life is toiling outside God. Peter toiled all the night and caught nothing, but when he allowed Jesus to stepped into His boat and obey His instruction, he had a net-breaking and boat-sinking harvest. Peter’s one man business became a partnership business like a dream of the night. Supernatural breakthrough by just ONE OBEDIENCE. It’s your turn to experience same dramatic change of level.
Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught. And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at thy word i will let down the net. And when they had this done, they inclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake (Luke.5:4-6).
I don’t care who you’re or where you’re from, God will promote you from nobody to somebody this year. Serving God is what makes an ordinary man to become an extraordinary man, it turns a nonentity to a celebrity. Peter did not go to school neither did other disciples yet people took notice of them, that they had been with Jesus. It’s your turn to be noticed and announced! Very soon, you will become the topic of discussion as you plug to the idea of serving God, you will never have to die with your struggle.
